Though he only started barely over half of the 2006 season, Tony Romo tied a team record with three 300-yard games in one season. The impressive part of this is that the record is shared by the likes of Don Meredith, Roger Staubach, and Danny White. Even more impressive is that even though [...]

nice to know. for Aikman he never had to really throw enough to get more tha n 2 300 yard games. i mean Emmitt ran for 30+ carries every game and Aikman never really was forced to throw.

and until Romo wins a playoff game i dont want to hear another comparison to Aikman, because that is a joke, haha.

Quite a few of the 300 yard games in team history have come in losing efforts, and Aikman was not forced to throw on every down quite as often as other QBs in team history. But I thought it was interesting that Romo was able to gain more than 300 yards three times when he hadn't thrown a pass in the NFL prior to the Houston game and even though he started barely more than half of the season. At the least, he wasn't a busdriver.

How about that. I agree Tony is more like Staubach. Lets see who he does this year.

I personally love this kid and yeah, he lost a playoff game, but how many did Peyton Manning lose before winning the SB? I just hope last year wasn't a fluke.
